February
2004 - the first season was released. You can get
this from a couple of places, ezydvd.com.au
or Empire
DVD. The DVD contains all eight
episodes from the first season. However it doesn't include any
extras.
July
12, 2005 - The
second season contains seven
episodes on two disks. It does not have the parka packaging
but does include the extra outtakes and deleted footage. Available
on ezydvd.com.au
or Empire DVD, The music
replacement is the same as the US release (and includes a warning

7, 2006 - The
third season contains twenty-three

Germany:
April 2004 - Northern Exposure
(Ausgerechnet Alaska) was released in German. You can find it
on amazon.de.
Update on the German Season 2 rumors:
<<There is some really bad news for German
NX fans. Some days ago the "CICELY
NEWS & WORLD TELEGRAM", a German NX related newsletter,
reported that Universal will not release season 2 of Northern Exposure
within the near future. The sales figures of season 1 weren't as
good as expected - especially in some of the other European countries.
This in addition to the music rights problem resulted in NX season
2 being put on hold.>> (Thanks again, Ingo!) To sign a petition

February
2004 - the first season of Northern Exposure

2006 - the second season of Northern Exposure
(Doctor en Alaska) was released.It's a
2-disk edition with some extras. Languages/subtitles: Spanish, English and Italian. Find it at Zona DVD. (Gracias, Borja!)

1, 1999 - the first series was released, the first Northern Exposure
DVD release worldwide! No extras included but includes
all eight
episodes from the first season. Region 2 DVDs (Europe, Japan,
South Africa, and the Middle East including Egypt) are available on
amazon.co.uk.
May
9 , 2005 - the second series was released.
It contains
all seven
episodes. You can order it several places, including amazon.co.uk
(a portion of your purchase helps support this web site, if you
order it through that link). Simon from the UK reports that some
of the music was replaced on the R2 UK release, but there is a label
on the package informing consumers. (Thanks Simon!)

30, 2006 - the third series was released in the
