Synopsis

Bar
owner Holling Vincoeur (John
Cullum) proposes to Shelly Tambo (Cynthia
Geary) after learning that she is carrying his child. But he
gets cold feet just before the ceremony and leaves the bride, Shelly;
maid of honor, Maggie;
best man, Joel; and a church full of people in shock.
Meanwhile,
Joel joins Maurice in wooing a group of Japanese businessmen to
build a golf resort in Cicely, after striking a deal with Maurice
to include him in as a well-paid "attending physician" at the resort. |
